This month's prize "The Folk Collection" - double CD
Artists from June Tabor via Blowzabella to Eliza Carthy
Somewhere on the map is a special icon, which is not the same, be warned, as any of the event icons, and may be very obscure.
This icon will only appear when the map is zoomed in to the closest level.
This month the icon is located once again at a point related to a place name in a folk song. By the way, I should add, that the name of the place might be that in the song, but that doesn't mean it is that particular place.
If you come up with a placename, then you should try each place with that name. In this case, entering the name in multimap gives only one result.
If you find the icon, click it to enter the final draw.
Each week I will add a new clue.
The winner in February was Alan Crozier.
The answer is :-
BRIGG FAIR
The third clue is - "On a boat, say?"
It was on the fifth of August
The weather hot and fine
Unto Brigg Fair I did repair
The second clue is - "What a lovely day - did you say you were getting something mended?"
For love I was inclined
The last clue is - "Early August - what emotion would you say you were leaning towards? "
I got up with a lark in the morning
The first clue is - "You're up early"
With my heart so full of glee
Expecting there to meet my love
Long time I wished to see

There will be no March competition, back in April
At the end of the month I will draw the winner out of the "hat" of those who found the icon,
so it pays you to stay quiet if you do find it!
If no one has found it, it will be easy clues and first past the post.
Sorry, but the competition only works on the Google map at present.
